How much has already been raised for the Community Center?

The City has already committed approximately $100 million dollars to build the
Community Center, utilizing the revenue generated through the passage of Measure W. With the “Discover What We Can Do Together” campaign, the City and Library Foundation seek to raise an additional $10 million to complete the project and create something truly extraordinary.

Where will the new Community Center be located?
​
The Community Center will be located on El Camino Real at the northeast corner of
Chestnut Avenue.
​

What will become of the current Main Library on West Orange Avenue?
​
The current Main Library may be re-purposed for another use, which will be determined prior to the opening of the new library.
​
​
When will the new Community Center be open to the public?
​
The opening of the Community Center is currently scheduled for Spring 2023.
